Because no one was interested in running for the position of President, I will continue to fulfill that roll until such time as a candidate is found.  If you are interested in the position of President, please contact me at this email address.   We will be creating several committees this coming school year and are also looking for anyone interested in joining one of the committees.  I will provide more information in the weeks ahead.

May 06, 2009  Big changes are coming to the Campbell's Labels For Education Program.  For now, keep clipping out those bar codes with the logos.  For information on program updates click here.   Also, please be advised that Nestle has discontinued their Go Play Labels campaign, so you no longer need collect those labels.

May 01, 2009  I apologize for not updating this site more recently.  It has been a very busy time for our family and I have needed to devote more time to my family as a result.  Here are some updates on what is happening at Winegard and in PTA:

  •  On March 18, 2009, I was fortunate enough to be able to join 2,500 other concerned parents, teachers, and community members at the PTA 50th No More Rally In Tally.  This rally gave me an opportunity to meet directly with several of our state legislators and learn much more about our political process here in FL.  The rally was covered locally, statewide, and nationally.  To view the pictures that took at the rally, click here.
  • On April 9, 2009, the Orange County Council of PTA and PTSAs elected the 2009-2010 board of directors.  The new board consists of President - Debra Booth, 1st Vice President - Dawn Steward, 2nd Vice President - Carrie Sultan, 3rd Vice President - Tammy Weaver, Treasurer - Richard M. Bolam, and Secretary - Jennifer Barrett.
  • Have you seen Winegard's new website?  It has recently been updated and enhanced.  Click here to see the changes.
  • Our final meeting for the 2008-2009 school year will be on Wednesday, May 20th at 6pm.  During this meeting, we will be electing our new slate of officers.  As a quorum must be met at this meeting, we need as many members as possible to attend.  I look forward to seeing you there.
